about voting 101
The primary goal of this site is to educate young and new voters about the upcoming 2020 election. Our primary audience includes the youngest Millennials, ranging, according to the Pew Research Center, between the ages of 20 and 24, and the oldest Gen Zers between the ages of 18 and 24. This campaign strives to connect new or less committed, young adult voters with resources and encouragement for participating in the democratic process.

Alyssa Cink
Alyssa Cink is a senior at Gonzaga University pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in English with a writing concentration and Spanish and journalism minors. She writes for Gonzaga's Marketing and Communications department and will graduate in the spring of 2020. She cast her first vote during the 2016 presidential election.
Riley Utley
Riley Utley is a junior at Gonzaga University studying journalism with minors in communication studies and political science. She works for The Gonzaga Bulletin and will be the Fall 2020 Editor-in-Cheif. She hopes to cover the presidential and local elections in the coming semester in a way that addresses the interests of the Gonzaga community. She began voting in elections in the 2018 midterms.
