We plan to use Instagram to create IG Stories that promote audience engagement through live streams with open comments, polls, Q&As and fun facts. This will allow our audience to get to know us in a less formal manner as well as add a level of personal engagement that is hard to find on other social media platforms.

Quotes from Gen Z Voters:

These quotes and anecdotes from young voters across the Gen Z demographic will help other people understand why they should vote in the upcoming election.

"I believe it is essential to vote, especially under a democratic government. For democracy to work, the government must be accountable to the voters. Without the people’s participation, the government will become too powerful and be unrepresentative of the diverse constituency."

- Karlie Murphy, junior at Gonzaga University

"Vote for your local politicians so that you know exactly how you are being represented as a local community member and a national citizen. Regardless of where you want to see improvement, change starts locally. Take a stand with your vote for your city is to take a stand for your nation."

- Brooklyn Popp, senior at Gonzaga University

"I vote to protect our liberties from those who would democratically take them away from us. Anyone who forfeits liberty in the name of security loses both."

- Trevor, age 23

"'A government big enough to give you everything you want, is a government big enough to take away everything that you have.' Voting is important to me because it provides citizens with the opportunity to try to pick the best candidate they can. It is important to exercise our rights and participate as often as we can."

- Taylor, age 22

"Voting is important to me because it makes my voice heard and I can have the satisfaction of being a part of something bigger than myself. Every vote counts and I want to play a role (no matter how seemingly small) in our future."

- Emma, age 18

"It is important for me to vote because I think it is imperative to form our own opinions about various events and modern day issues. It is also important because our votes are a part of something bigger than ourselves."

- Cade, age 18
